Position Overview:

We are seeking an Art Director for a temporary contract role focused on enhancing our visual marketing efforts. This position requires collaboration with photography, videography, and copywriting teams to produce compelling visual content that resonates with our brand identity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Art Direction Excellence: Ensure that all marketing materials are crafted in a distinctive manner that aligns with our brand ethos.
  • Trend Awareness: Stay updated on current trends in digital marketing and retail best practices to inform design choices.
  • Collaborative Partnership: Work closely with the Copy Manager to integrate visual and textual elements seamlessly.
  • Project Management: Oversee the progress of creative projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Creative Leadership: Present concepts and designs to stakeholders, articulating ideas clearly and effectively.
Brand Creative Delivery:
  • Marketing Alignment: Understand and support our Sales & Marketing objectives through effective visual storytelling.
  • Production Oversight: Direct photo and video shoots, providing guidance to the creative team to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Asset Management: Ensure that all creative assets are organized and accessible for marketing initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within an in-house creative team.
  • Proven track record in consumer brand marketing, particularly in physical product sectors.
  • Eligibility to work in Canada.
