About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Ecommerce App Developer to join our team at Applied Thermal Control Ltd. As an Ecommerce App Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining ecommerce applications that provide a seamless online shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Development: Design, develop, and maintain ecommerce mobile and web applications, ensuring a user-friendly and highly functional experience.
  • Code Quality and Maintenance: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
  • Performance and Security: Ensure the performance, security, and scalability of the applications, optimizing database queries and ensuring data integrity.
  • User Experience: Develop responsive and visually appealing user interfaces that enhance the user experience, implementing user-friendly navigation and interactive features.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, product managers, and other developers, to align development efforts with business goals.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing to identify and fix bugs and performance issues, implementing automated testing processes to ensure application reliability.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for the application's architecture, APIs, and features, documenting code changes and updates for future reference.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Experience: Proven experience in ecommerce app development, including both mobile and web applications.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of front-end and back-end technologies, databases, and server-side scripting, experience with mobile app development tools and platforms, and familiarity with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Soft Skills: Problem-solving skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Ecommerce Platforms: Knowledge of ecommerce platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, or Magento.
  • Mobile App Development: Familiarity with mobile app development for both Android and iOS.
  • Security Best Practices: Understanding of security best practices for ecommerce applications.
  • Performance Optimization: Experience with performance optimization and caching strategies.
  • Certifications: Certification in relevant technologies or development frameworks.
