Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Labourer - Wood Processing to join our team at Diamond Stacking Co. Ltd. as a key member of our wood processing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Feed conveyors, hoppers, saws, and drying machines with wood products.
  • Load chips, sulphur, and processing materials as required.
  • Sort, pile, and transport wood products to designated areas.
  • Remove scrap lumber and wood chips for reprocessing.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced wood processing environment with exposure to noisy and dusty conditions.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail required.
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and work at heights.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday.
Working Conditions

The Labourer - Wood Processing will work a standard 40-hour workweek with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day.

Language

The primary language of work is English.
