Job Summary

The Early Childhood Educator will play a vital role in supporting the educational and developmental needs of our Kindergarten students. This dynamic role requires a skilled and dedicated professional who can facilitate student programming, collaborate with the Kindergarten team, and develop and deliver creative and innovative inquiry-based programming inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Kindergarten classroom programming and develop engaging and enriching activities for students during extended day hours.
  • Collaborate with other faculty and staff members to plan and implement student-centered learning experiences.
  • Assist with the extended day program, including supervising students during after-school activities and providing academic support as needed.
  • Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for all students under care.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators.
  • 1-3+ years' experience teaching in Early Years (JK/SK).
  • Experience in Reggio-inspired programming is an asset.
  • Experience in a non-profit setting and an independent school is an asset.
