Job Title: Quality Control Laboratory Analyst

Catalent is a global leader in the development and manufacturing of pharmaceutical products. We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Laboratory Analyst to join our team in Strathroy, Ontario.

Job Summary:

The Quality Control Laboratory Analyst will be responsible for coordinating and performing laboratory activities, including testing of raw materials, finished products, and stability samples. The successful candidate will be part of a scientific team that assists in the advancement of pharmaceutical products produced by the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform instrumental and wet chemistry methods to test raw materials, finished products, and stability samples.
  • Train, advise, and assist laboratory personnel as required.
  • Maintain adequate levels of laboratory supplies.
  • Calibrate and maintain instruments according to relevant SOPs.
  • Comply with SOPs and GMPs at all times.
  • Maintain the laboratory environment in a safe and clean manner.
Requirements:
  • College diploma in Chemistry required. Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience as a lab analyst is preferred.
  • Experience working in a pharmaceutical and/or GMP facility is an asset.
  • Strong technical/scientific background.
  • Knowledge of laboratory techniques, terminology, equipment, and materials.
  • Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Demonstrate applicable ethics and due diligence.
  • Good communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills.
