We are seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our team at Shiva Transport Ltd. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, while ensuring timely and efficient service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and Pick Up: Safely transport and deliver packages, messages, and other items to customers, while adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring accurate and timely communication with customers and team members.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of items received and delivered, including tracking and monitoring of packages and messages.
  • Transportation: Load and unload goods, while ensuring safe and secure transportation of packages and messages.
  • Navigation: Follow directions and read maps to ensure efficient and timely delivery of packages and messages.
  • Administrative Tasks: Record trip information, including vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems encountered during delivery.
  • Financial Transactions: Process and manage payments for goods and services, while maintaining accurate financial records.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:

This role requires a high level of physical fitness, as you will be required to lift, carry, and maneuver packages and messages throughout the day. You will also be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent deadlines and changing priorities.

Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 40 to 60 hours per week.
