Senior Software Automation Test Developer

Ross Video is a world leader in High-Definition Video Production Equipment, designed and manufactured in Canada and sold world-wide. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Automation Test Developer to join our development team.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong background in software engineering, test automation, and Agile development methodologies. As a Senior Software Automation Test Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications, as well as providing technical leadership and guidance to the development team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using a variety of programming languages and frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team, including code reviews, design reviews, and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements and deliverables.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and make recommendations for new tools and approaches that can help the team and our products.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering or a related industry.
  • Bachelor Degree or higher in a related field of study.
  • Strong background in software engineering, test automation, and Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with Domain Driven Design, Hexagonal Architecture, Test Driven Development, and Behavioral Driven Development.
  • Experience in the video equipment industry.
