Senior Java Engineer

CB Canada is seeking a skilled Senior Java Engineer to contribute to innovative projects within the Financial Services domain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage over 5 years of experience in developing large-scale, modular applications using Core Java.
  • Utilize SOA and Microservices architecture with REST and SOAP protocols.
  • Engage in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery practices, proficient with tools like Jenkins and TeamCity.
  • Implement industry-standard best practices including Design Patterns and Coding Standards.
  • Work with RDBMS and SQL/PLSQL for database management.
  • Apply unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito for quality assurance.
  • Optimize and debug UI components for enhanced performance.
  • Understand and navigate the SDLC lifecycle in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Apache Kafka and Apache Flink is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Apache Ignite is a plus.
  • Background in developing applications within the Financial Services sector is preferred.
