About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Food Counter Attendant at Dairy Queen. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers in a fast-paced environment.
    • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation
    • Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, including the kitchen, dining area, and restrooms.
    • Follow proper food handling and preparation procedures to ensure customer safety.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Work effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless service and a positive customer experience.
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies and inventory in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies to management.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues, management, and customers to ensure a smooth and efficient work environment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Will train
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
