About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Steel Detailing Project Coordinator to join our team at DOWCO. As a key member of our production team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our production drawings for fabrication and erection.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in scheduling staff and managing projects to meet deadlines and budgets.
- Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure seamless project execution.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new methods and processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members.
About You
We are looking for a self-motivated and organized individual with a strong background in steel detailing and project management. You should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
Requirements
- 6+ years of steel detailing experience and 2+ years in a project management or coordination role.
- Experience with Tekla Structures and FabTrol is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of pdf mark-up software such as Adobe or Bluebeam is a plus.
