Job Title: Pricing Analyst

Lawson Products is seeking a skilled Pricing Analyst to join our Canadian pricing organization. As a Pricing Analyst, you will be responsible for developing pricing models, ensuring pricing accuracy, and maintaining pricing structure and data.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop pricing models, including profitability and freight factors.
  • Collaborate with coworkers, customers, and suppliers to ensure pricing accuracy.
  • Maintain current and historical pricing data.
  • Prepare analyses, reports, charts, and graphs monthly.
  • Perform financial modeling and analysis of existing accounts and company pricing.
  • Propose solutions to meet organizational pricing and profitability goals.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of the competition.
  • Create new-item pricing, ensuring compatibility with current lines, profit margins, and market competitiveness.
  • Deliver on concurrent initiatives and build relationships with key internal and external pricing customers.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, mathematics, or related field, with 3 years of experience in the field or a related area, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Familiarity with industry concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Strong analytic and computer skills with an aptitude in mathematics and experience in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent data management skills and ability to interpret and effectively communicate complex analytics.
  • Self-motivated to work independently and as part of a team.
  • PC literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred; SAP experience is a plus.
