We are seeking a dedicated Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our team at Sucro Can Canada Inc. This role requires extensive experience in metalworking and fabrication within a sugar refinery environment.
Qualifications- Education: No formal degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in metal fabrication or related fields.
The position is based in a sugar refinery, focusing on maintenance and repair tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble and fit metal plates and sections to create robust structures.
- Utilize welding or bolting techniques to secure sections together.
- Set up and operate heavy-duty metalworking machinery.
- Install fabricated components into the final product.
- Employ machining tools for fabrication or reconditioning of parts.
- Conduct quality checks and monitor product standards.
- Document completed work accurately.
- Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to identify faults and malfunctions.
- Experience with brakes and presses.
- Skilled in using grinders and saws.
- Proficient in welding techniques.
- Familiarity with heat exchangers and condensers.
- Structural metal or steel fabrication.
- Pressure vessel construction.
- Tank and boiler assembly.
This role is physically demanding and requires a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.
