The Opportunity:
AGI is in search of a Lead Process Engineer to become part of the team. This position entails working alongside a group of Process Engineers on initiatives within the Food and Beverage sector, performing feasibility assessments and process designs for various projects.
- Utilize engineering principles in areas such as bulk material handling, fluid mechanics, thermal transfer, and thermodynamic processes
- Execute field measurements to ascertain design specifications
- Oversee design teams, liaise with other disciplines, and collaborate with suppliers
- Draft control narratives for process automation
- Offer contractor field assistance and supervise installation operations
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols at client locations
- Commission systems and resolve process issues in the field
- Remain informed on engineering innovations through ongoing education
- Formulate and revise project requirements and specifications
- Conduct site assessments, inspections, and generate reports
Requirements:
A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with over 5 years of experience in process design within food-related sectors. The ideal candidate should possess robust technical capabilities, adhere to engineering best practices, and be well-versed in food equipment design standards and manufacturing methodologies. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, adaptability to varied working hours, and the willingness to travel as necessary are crucial. A Professional Engineer designation is viewed as an advantage.
