Position Overview

As a Delivery Agent - Postal Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of mail and packages to customers. This temporary on-call position offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic work environment and gain valuable experience in the postal industry.

Responsibilities

  • Sort and prepare mail for delivery
  • Drive postal vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Deliver mail and packages to customers' residences and businesses
  • Unload mail for future delivery
  • Sort and handle mail and packages with care
  • Operate handling equipment as required
  • Receive and accept mail items from customers
  • Process mail items according to established procedures

Qualifications

  • Valid Class 5 or G driver's license
  • Ability to lift and carry mail items safely
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions
  • Availability for on-call shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Bilingualism in English and French is an asset
