Job Title: Architectural Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Architectural Technologist to join our team at Shearer Licensed Interior Design Inc. As an Architectural Technologist, you will play a key role in the design and development of our projects, working closely with our team of designers and engineers to create innovative and functional spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software
  • Analyze technical documents and reports to inform design decisions
  • Assist in supervising construction projects and preparing working drawings
  • Supervise architectural technical staff and write specifications
  • Monitor and inspect work, estimating costs and materials as needed
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent experience in architecture or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in a related field, preferably in a design or construction setting
  • Proficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD and SketchUp
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
