Position: Mechanical Quality Assurance Technician

Location: Saskatoon

Work Schedule: Night Shift, Monday – Thursday, 5.45 pm – 4.15 am.

As a Mechanical Quality Assurance Technician, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting mechanical quality inspections on newly manufactured ambulances.
  • Performing oxygen and suction functionality tests.
  • Executing fit and function assessments for stretchers and associated equipment.
  • Carrying out weight analysis procedures.
  • Creating detailed documentation regarding weight analysis and load testing results.
  • Utilizing hand tools and power tools effectively.
  • Reading a tape measure with precision to 1/32" tolerance.
  • Understanding quality metrics to comply with ISO standards.
  • Maintaining awareness of and adhering to safe work practices.
  • Handling, pushing, pulling, and lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Reaching forward and overhead at or beyond full arm's length for extended periods.
