Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Taxi Driver to join our team at Hope Taxi. As a Taxi Driver, you will be responsible for providing safe and reliable transportation services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Clean and perform minor repairs to the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Customer Service: Pick up passengers and drive them to their destinations, assist with luggage and boarding, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Financial Transactions: Collect fares and record transactions accurately.
  • Dispatch and Scheduling: Operate dispatch systems and maintain work records and logs.
  • Special Requests: Provide pick-up and delivery services on request and assist clients with special needs.
Requirements
  • Licenses and Certifications: Hold a Provincial or Territorial Commercial Vehicle licence (Class 4 or E).
  • Experience: Have at least 7 months of experience in the transportation industry.
  • Work Environment: Be able to work in a fast-paced, on-the-road environment.
  • Language: Be fluent in English.
