Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Samak Investments Inc. as a Team Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, as well as training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff
    • Oversee the daily operations of the food service team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
    • Coordinate the preparation and portioning of food, ensuring that high-quality standards are met.
  • Train and Develop Staff
    • Train new staff members in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
    • Develop and implement training programs to improve staff skills and knowledge.
  • Estimate and Manage Inventory
    • Estimate the quantity of ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.
    • Manage inventory levels, ensuring that stock is maintained at optimal levels.
  • Quality Control and Customer Service
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
    • Prepare and submit reports as required.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience
    • 1 to 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment with a focus on customer service.

    • Standing for extended periods.
