About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Service Technician to join our team at Reliance Home Comfort. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service and support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service and repair HVAC equipment, including water heaters and air conditioning units, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics to identify and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and concerns in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing training and professional development.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 or equivalent education.
  • Gas Technician II license.
  • Certificate of qualification (C of Q) as an Air Conditioning Mechanic (Ontario – 313d).
  • Valid Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) card.
  • Class G Driver's License.
  • 3-5 years of field experience in service of water heaters & HVAC equipment, an asset.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and standby duties as required.
  • Physical ability to perform all work required of this position, occasional lifting of 15 kg up to shoulder height, frequent bending, occasional squatting/kneeling, working inside and outside in all types of weather.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand and learn new technologies (Electronics/Electricity).
  • Punctuality and dependability.
