About the Role

MFP Resources Corp. is seeking a skilled Heavy Truck Mechanic to join our team. As a Heavy Truck Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy trucks and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance on heavy trucks and equipment, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with heavy trucks and equipment, including hydraulic and transmission systems.
  • Install and replace parts and components, such as mufflers, exhaust pipes, and radiators.
  • Assist mechanics with more complex repairs and provide support as needed.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines to ensure timely completion of repairs.
Requirements
  • 1-7 months of experience in heavy truck maintenance and repair.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to perform tasks such as tire rotations and brake pad replacements.
  • Ability to distinguish between colors and attention to detail to ensure accurate repairs.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts and meet deadlines.
