As a trusted advisor, your responsibilities will include offering expert guidance on both domestic and international assignments, assisting client organizations and their employees in effectively navigating regulatory challenges and minimizing potential risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead teams in managing U.S. and combined U.S.-Canadian individual income and estate tax filings
  • Support clients in cross-border income tax and estate planning initiatives
  • Deliver specialized knowledge on Canadian and U.S. individual income tax, social security, and international tax agreements
  • Engage in expatriate policy development and compensation structuring
  • Oversee engagement planning, financial oversight, and ensure the delivery of high-quality outcomes
  • Review tax submissions and uphold quality assurance standards
  • Identify business development opportunities and contribute to proposal efforts
  • Participate in strategic planning and process enhancement initiatives
  • Guide and mentor team members to foster their professional growth
  • Be open to travel as necessary

Qualifications and Skills:

  • CPA certification
  • Background in public accounting or tax advisory services
  • In-depth understanding of Canadian and U.S. individual income and estate tax regulations
  • Strong leadership, relationship management, and team-building capabilities
  • Strategic thinking and planning proficiency
