Job Title: Pharmacy Assistant II

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Assistant II to join our team in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. As a Pharmacy Assistant II, you will play a vital role in providing excellent patient care and supporting our pharmacy team in delivering high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prescription assembly and data entry
  • Process customer transactions, including receiving and releasing prescriptions
  • Receive in-person and telephone refill requests and record deliveries
  • Promote PROfile programs and compounding services
  • Pill Pack Assembly and filing prescriptions, ordering and replenishing supplies, cleaning
  • Drug order creation and receiving, and scheduling professional clinical services
  • Manage BTC and administrative duties, including cycle counts, narcotic counts, return to stocks, TML's, and manual third parties
Requirements:
  • Preferred: Undergraduate degree, Pharmacy Technology Certificate, or other Pharmacy Recognized program
  • Previous pharmacy experience is an asset
  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
