Job Title: Child Caregiver

We are seeking a reliable and caring Child Caregiver to join our team at Harpreet Kaur. As a Child Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to infants and children in a family setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional care and attention to infants and children, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  • Assist with toilet training and potty breaks.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks.
  • Establish a safe and healthy environment in the home.
  • Engage in activities that promote social development and emotional well-being.
  • Keep accurate records of daily activities and health information.
  • Travel with the family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in childcare.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliability, patience, and a positive attitude.
Work Environment:

The work site environment is non-smoking and scent-free. The work setting is in the employer's home, and relocation costs are not covered by the employer. The ideal candidate will be willing to relocate.

A criminal record check is required for this position.

Transportation/Travel Information:

Public transportation is available.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

The ideal candidate will be able to handle heavy loads and have excellent attention to detail.

Weight Handling:

The candidate will be required to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).

Personal Suitability:

The ideal candidate will possess excellent judgement, be organized, reliable, and have strong time management skills. They will also be patient, honest, and have a positive attitude.
