Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Golden Goose Holdings Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food and service meet quality control standards. This includes supervising and coordinating the activities of staff, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules
  • Hire food service staff
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Client focus and efficient interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
Work Environment:

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a variety of locations, including restaurants and cafeterias. The work environment will be noisy, with odours, wet/damp conditions, and hot temperatures.
