About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to join our team at Okanagan Spotless Cleaning Services Inc. As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our cleaning services, ensuring that our high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Supervise and coordinate the activities of cleaning staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Inspect Sites and Facilities: Conduct regular inspections of sites and facilities to ensure that they meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Recommend Additional Services: Identify opportunities to provide additional services to our clients, such as specialized cleaning or maintenance tasks.
  • Assist Cleaners: Assist cleaning staff with their duties as needed, ensuring that they have the necessary support and resources to complete their tasks.
  • Coordinate Work Activities: Coordinate work activities with other departments, such as maintenance and facilities management, to ensure that our services are delivered efficiently and effectively.

Work Environment

As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality services to our clients. You will be required to work independently, with minimal supervision, and to make decisions quickly and effectively.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role is required.
  • Work Setting: This role is based in a cleaning service company environment.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with repetitive tasks, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, initiative, judgement, and reliability are essential qualities for this role.
