We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Acute Medical Unit at Fraser Health. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, assessing patients, and developing care plans to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients and collect information from various sources to inform care decisions
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Collaborate with the interprofessional care team to ensure comprehensive care planning and delivery
- Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and well-being
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
- Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
- Current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interprofessional care team
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
