Key Responsibilities
  • Determine Method of Shipment

You will be responsible for selecting the most efficient and cost-effective method of shipment for our goods, taking into account factors such as weight, size, and destination.

Schedule Distribution of Goods

You will work closely with our suppliers and customers to schedule the distribution of goods, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing delays.

Schedule Transportation Conveyances

You will be responsible for scheduling transportation conveyances, including trucks, trains, and ships, to ensure the safe and efficient transportation of goods.

Prepare Bills of Lading, Invoices, and Other Shipping Documents

You will prepare and process all necessary shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs forms, to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.

Assemble Containers and Crates

You will assemble and prepare containers and crates for shipping, ensuring they are properly labeled and secured.

Inspect and Verify Incoming Goods

You will inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices and other documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Record Shortages and Reject Damaged Goods

You will record any shortages or damaged goods, and take necessary action to resolve issues.

Pack Goods to be Shipped

You will pack goods to be shipped, ensuring they are properly secured and labeled.

Unpack Goods Received

You will unpack goods received, inspecting them for damage or defects.

Oversee Loading and Unloading of Goods
