Job Overview

In this pivotal role, you will oversee the procurement of goods and services, ensuring adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies. Your expertise will be essential in guiding management on procurement strategies, conducting market research, and performing financial assessments to devise negotiation tactics aimed at optimizing costs. You will also manage the bidding process, assess proposals, and execute supply agreements. Your proficiency in procurement will empower you to suggest enhancements to operational efficiency and effectiveness.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate and manage the bidding process with professionalism, ensuring strategic, equitable, and transparent acquisition practices in line with existing regulations and policies.
  • Identify procurement needs and formulate targeted negotiation strategies.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams to develop, implement, and support procurement strategies.
  • Propose strategic enhancements and adjustments to current procurement methods, standards, and practices.
  • Analyze cost benefits of various programs based on necessary resources.
  • Assess organizational advantages or potential savings from different requests and analyses.
  • Draft and review technical specifications to ensure compliance with laws and policies while exploring multiple options to maintain competitive integrity.
  • Encourage the use of social economy enterprises, fair trade, and environmentally responsible products whenever feasible.
  • Foster ethical business relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in administration or a related discipline.
  • Professional certification in supply chain management and logistics is preferred.
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field is advantageous.
  • A minimum of two years of pertinent experience in procurement and logistics, ideally within a healthcare context.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management and procurement in a digital environment.
  • Knowledge of various laws, policies, procedures, and regulations governing procurement activities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and material resource management systems.
  • Intermediate proficiency in spoken and written English.
