CBO - Canadian Base Operators is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Specialist to join our team. As a proud partner with Kelowna Aerospace Defence Programs, we deliver support services tailored to our client, the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF).

The Cleaning Specialist is a full-time permanent position located in Southport, MB and reports to the Housekeeping Supervisor. Their primary focus is to maintain a clean and safe environment for our clients and employees. Hours of work are Monday to Friday from 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean all areas on site, including shared spaces and high-touch points

• Remove dust and dirt

• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and furniture

• Sweep, mop, and polish floors

• Sanitize washrooms and other high-touch areas

• Remove and sort garbage and recycling

• Ensure proper use and storage of cleaning equipment and supplies

• Replenish paper and other essential supplies

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable, but training will be provided

• Knowledge of various cleaning equipment and products

• Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy

• Able to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks

• Detail-oriented and able to work independently

• Bending and lifting required, up to 50 lbs

• Maintain a professional demeanor and work well in a team environment
