We are seeking a skilled Framer-Carpenter to join our team at AP Group Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials. They will also build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems. Additionally, they will fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware, and supervise other workers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Supervising other workers
  • Maintaining, repairing, and renovating residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments
Requirements:

Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. They will be required to work at various locations and be able to lift heavy materials.
