Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at PETRO-CANADA. As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and ensuring the smooth operation of our retail store.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they are adequately trained to perform their tasks.
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles.
- Order merchandise and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demand.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that products are easily accessible to customers.
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure that tasks are completed to a high standard.
- 5-10 years of experience in a retail environment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
The Retail Store Supervisor will work in a fast-paced retail environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The physical demands of the role include standing for extended periods and lifting heavy objects.
Experience:The ideal candidate will have 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail environment. The role is permanent and requires a 35-hour workweek.
