About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team at Opex Foods Ltd. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, take orders, and ensure prompt and courteous service.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, portion and wrap foods, and package take-out food.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, as well as handle and store cleaning products.
  • Inventory Management: Keep records of food quantities used and replenish condiments and supplies as needed.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient service and maintain a clean and safe environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience: Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
