Essential Qualifications:
- Professional accounting designation (CPA) or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years in a similar role or with a public accounting firm
- Understanding of cost centers for management reporting
- Interest in process improvements and automation
- High accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines
- Goal-oriented mindset focused on project completion
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Sage 300 or similar ERP software
- Experience in the pharmacy sector
Your Role:
As part of our collaborative team, you will play a vital role in:
- Leading the monthly financial close process and ensuring timely completion.
- Managing revenue accounting and reconciling billing with accounting systems.
- Conducting monthly reviews of trial balances and variance analyses.
- Preparing financial statements for various entities.
- Overseeing bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
- Ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and compliance.
- Identifying cost-saving opportunities and enhancing operational efficiency.
- Mentoring financial staff and improving financial processes.
- Collaborating with IT and operations to implement process improvements.
