Join Our Team as a Chiropodist

We are seeking a skilled Chiropodist to join our team of Medical Specialists at LMC Healthcare. As a Chiropodist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, including nail and callous care, wart treatments, and soft tissue surgeries.

About the Opportunity
  • Work with a team of 5 Endocrinologists onsite
  • Established patient base to begin with and grow from
  • Well-developed patient referral system from both internal and external referring physicians
  • Medical office assistant to support booking and billing of patients
  • Direct support from LMC's Manager of Medical Education and Clinical Operations
  • Support from Chiropody, Medical Director for clinical guidance
Responsibilities
  • Full scope of practice Chiropody according to the College of Chiropodists of Ontario standards
  • Providing patient care, including nail and callous care, wart treatments, and soft tissue surgeries
  • Collaborating with an inter-professional team, including Endocrinologists, Nurses, and Pharmacists
  • Ensuring treatment rooms and equipment are well maintained
  • Providing foot education to patients and other local professionals
Qualifications
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Expertise in providing care to individuals with diabetes
  • Proficiency in use of computers
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to take initiative and work in a team environment
  • Graduate Diploma from a recognized school of Chiropody with professional certification (D.Ch. or D.Pod.M.)
  • Member in good standing with College of Chiropodists without limitations
