About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Pet Valu. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in helping our customers find the right products for their pets, while also providing exceptional customer service and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service and support to our customers, answering their questions and helping them find the right products for their pets.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment.
  • Restock shelves, maintain a clean and organized store environment, and perform other tasks as needed to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Assist with receiving and stocking merchandise, including pet food and supplies.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an engaging and welcoming store environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset.
  • Working knowledge of POS systems and ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Outgoing and friendly personality with strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs repetitively and stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings.
