Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Vehicles: Ensure that all vehicles are in good working condition, perform routine maintenance tasks, and address any issues promptly.
  • Transport Goods and Materials: Safely transport goods and materials to various destinations, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Inspect Vehicles and Cargo: Regularly inspect vehicles and cargo to ensure that they are secure and meet safety standards.
  • Communicate with Dispatch and Customers: Maintain open communication with dispatch and customers to ensure that all deliveries are made on time and to the customer's satisfaction.
  • Meet Safety and Regulatory Requirements: Adhere to all safety and regulatory requirements, including hours of service, weight limits, and cargo securement.
Requirements
  • Education and Certifications: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate, Air Brakes Endorsement, and a valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Work Experience: Experience an asset, with a focus on transportation and logistics.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs), sit for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.
