Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and career-minded professional to join our Marketing Team as a Full-Time Fashion Product Copywriter in our Photo Studio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create compelling product copy reflecting the brand's distinctive voice with customer focus in mind.
  • Assist and enhance development of the brand voice across our ecommerce array and product display pages.
  • Collaborate with merchants and vendors to transform product information into captivating product descriptions.
  • Research product to enhance copy with key selling features.
  • Edit and proofread copy to ensure grammatical accuracy, coherence, and consistency in brand tone.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain product copy standards and guidelines.
  • Develop an understanding of our product assortment, our customer's purchasing behaviors, and industry trends.
  • Assist in creating editorial content for website and other marketing channels when needed.
  • Conduct website audits to ensure accuracy of copy displayed.
  • Provide support to sample team when needed.
  • Additional projects as required (product knowledge info sessions, brand introductions, etc.).

Requirements

  • University Degree or College Diploma in E-Commerce, Fashion, or related Digital Media program.
  • Working knowledge of SEO best practices and keyword search.
  • Thorough understanding of fashion and clothing terminology (fabrics, collar types, cuff types, plackets, etc.).
  • Experience with fashion ecommerce, marketing, and editorial recommended.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a digital environment processing and managing a large amount of assets.
  • Strong sense of urgency, ability to prioritize, and work within tight deadlines.
  • Exceptionally detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work with minimal supervision in a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Technically proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage tight schedules.
  • Project management experience a strong asset.
  • Fashion retail experience a strong asset.
  • Experience with a Web Content Management system an asset.
