About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Integration Specialist to join our team at BeachHead Inc. as an ETL Developer- VBA/Tableau. This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual to work with one of the top financial clients, utilizing their technical expertise to design and develop data models, improve data analysis processes, and generate actionable insights through comprehensive reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  1. ETL Development and Design: Develop, design, and maintain ETL data flow models to ensure efficient data integration from multiple sources. Optimize ETL processes to support business intelligence and analytics needs.
  2. Data Analysis Process Improvement: Assess current data analysis processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy. Ensure that data analysis practices align with organizational goals and standards.
  3. Data Reporting: Generate detailed data analysis reports using tools such as Tableau, Alteryx Designer, and MS Excel. Provide insights and recommendations based on data trends to support decision-making across various teams.
  4. Analytical Software Proficiency: Utilize analytical software and systems, including Tableau Desktop, Alteryx Designer, MS Access Macro, and SharePoint, to manage, analyze, and visualize data. Ensure data is accessible and presented in a clear and actionable manner.
  5. Programming and Automation: Leverage programming languages such as Python, SQL, and VBA to automate data processing tasks, create complex queries, and develop scripts for data manipulation. Utilize advanced Excel functions, including VBA scripts, pivot tables, and Active X controls, to streamline data analysis workflows.
  6. Data Governance and Compliance: Adhere to data governance policies and procedures, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security. Maintain compliance with organizational standards for data handling and reporting.
Desired Skill Set
  1. Experience in developing and designing ETL Data Flow Models
  2. Experience in assessing and improving Data Analysis Process
  3. Expertise in generating Data Analysis Reports
  4. Hands-on experience with MS Access Macro and VBA
  5. Expert user of MS Excel: VBA Script, Pivot Table, Advanced Formulas, and Form/Active X Control
  6. Familiar working with Data Governance and defining Procedures
Nice To Have
  1. Experience with Tableau Desktop
  2. Working knowledge of Alteryx Designer
  3. Proficiency in SharePoint
