Are you prepared to leverage your skills in merchandising and category oversight within a vibrant team environment?
We are seeking an Omnichannel Category Management Specialist to manage cross-functional merchandising across various sales platforms, including Franchise, Backbar (Professional assortment), Ecom Only, and Promotional Buy-Ins. This position is crucial in ensuring our clientele experiences a cohesive, optimized, and brand-aligned journey across all shopping avenues.
This stimulating role will be based in our Mississauga Office and will report directly to the Senior Category Manager .
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate and Communicate: Partner closely with the lead Category Manager and essential cross-functional stakeholders (franchise, professional, ecom) to achieve objectives and enhance assortment planning and SKU configuration.
- Curate Assortments: Create product assortments with guidance from our Education Lead and Senior Category Manager, concentrating on backbar/professional inventory management and sales efficiency.
- Lead Pricing & Assortment Analysis: Perform bi-annual competitive pricing and assortment evaluations, delivering detailed post-analysis reports with the assistance of Category Managers.
- Execute Brand Sales Reporting: Oversee and implement monthly sales reporting for brands/vendors.
- Support Digital Flyers: Work alongside the lead Category Manager on promotional planograms.
- Champion Customer Experience: Guarantee a seamless, consistent, and engaging customer experience across all retail channels.
- Experience: 3-5 years in category management, merchandising, or retail operations.
- Skills: Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities, along with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge: Understanding of omnichannel retail strategies and best practices.
- Passion: A genuine enthusiasm for the retail sector and a commitment to staying ahead of market trends in beauty, particularly in hair and body care.
