We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Salon Manager to lead our team at SmartStyle Hair Salon. As a Salon Manager, you will be responsible for managing all salon operations, providing leadership and tools for success, and ensuring the highest quality of service for each guest.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Oversee all aspects of salon operations, including staff management, inventory control, and customer service.
- Leadership and Development: Lead by example, provide coaching and mentoring to staff, and develop a positive work environment that fosters growth and success.
- Business Development: Focus on increasing profitability, teaching stylists the ins and outs of business, and setting an example for exceptional customer service.
- Guest Experience: Ensure that every guest receives a high-quality experience, including hair care services and exceptional customer service.
- Recruitment and Training: Hire, recruit, train, and handle conflicts and client complaints with professionalism and ease.
Requirements:
- Leadership and Customer Service: Lead by example, prioritize customer service, and resolve challenges with professionalism.
- Business Acumen: Understand the importance of business development, staff training, and creating a positive work environment.
- Technical Competency: Possess a current cosmetology or barber license as required by state/provincial regulations.
- Flexibility and Availability: Work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, and be available for mandatory meetings and training sessions.
- Administrative Skills: Possess basic math skills, reading, and writing abilities, and be tech-savvy to perform administrative tasks.
