Mitchell Plastics is seeking a highly skilled Production Scheduler to join our team in Kitchener. As a key player in our organization, you will be responsible for scheduling and planning all production requirements to meet customer demands in a fast-paced, just-in-time environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule and plan customer requirements to achieve requested delivery dates.
  • Coordinate with Production, Customer Service, Purchasing, and Maintenance Teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Develop and implement scheduling strategies to optimize production efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve scheduling conflicts and ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Develop and maintain accurate schedules and reports to track production progress.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in production scheduling or a related field.
  • Comprehensive understanding of materials requirement planning, demand management, and forecasting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make informed decisions.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including Excel, MS Word, and Outlook.
