Job Summary:

Northern Lights College is seeking a reliable and skilled Relief Janitor to join our facilities team. As a Relief Janitor, you will provide essential cleaning services to our main campus buildings, outbuildings, and student housing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform cleaning duties such as vacuuming, washing floors and windows, carpet cleaning, and emptying garbage
  • Restock supplies and maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Assist with special events and provide support to the facilities team as needed
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless operations

Requirements:

  • Institutional custodial training and experience preferred
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physical tasks
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Current, valid driver's license an asset

What We Offer:

  • Competitive hourly rate
  • Temporary employees receive an additional $0.58/hr. in lieu of benefits
