About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at GTA's Finest Restoration Services (Ottawa) Inc. as a permanent employee.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Assist in demolishing buildings and structures, ensuring a safe and controlled environment.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials for reuse or recycling.
  • Perform routine maintenance work on equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
  • Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites, ensuring the safety of workers and the general public.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field.
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks.
Work Environment

Our construction sites are located in various locations, and you will be required to work outdoors in a noisy and dusty environment.

Work Schedule

This is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week. You will be required to work a standard schedule, with occasional overtime as needed.
