Key Responsibilities
- Service and troubleshoot fire alarm systems, including SimplexGrinnell.
- Diagnose problems and perform repairs on electronic fire alarm systems and related building system products.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and operational product manuals.
- Communicate effectively with customers and district staff.
- Participate in on-call rotations and help train or mentor others.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience in low-voltage electrical systems, including fire/life safety systems.
- A valid CFAA or ASTTBC Fire Alarm Certificate is a plus.
- Knowledge of test equipment, multi-meter, digital analyzer, and commissioning devices.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
