Position Overview

KOBBY'S LANDSCAPING INC is seeking a dedicated Landscape Technician to enhance our outdoor spaces and provide exceptional care for various landscapes.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year in landscaping or related fields
Work Environment

The role primarily involves working outdoors, engaging with nature and the elements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Construct models and prepare conceptual designs for landscaping projects.
  • Survey and evaluate designated sites for landscaping potential.
  • Water and maintain the health of plants, lawns, and gardens.
  • Utilize fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, pesticides, and other lawn care products effectively.
  • Implement various treatments including pruning, spraying, and repairing damaged areas.
  • Assess the overall health of lawns and diagnose issues in trees and shrubs.
  • Plant and relocate trees as necessary, including tree removal when required.
Experience in Landscaping
  • Involvement in residential landscaping projects.
  • Experience with commercial and industrial construction landscaping.
  • Participation in restoration and preservation projects.
Physical Requirements
  • Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Manual dexterity and the capability to distinguish between colors.
  • Comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, as well as bending, crouching, and kneeling.
