Our Red Chris operation is currently seeking a Mobile Equipment Maintenance Coordinator, offering a competitive base salary ranging from $97,000 to $105,000, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
This role presents a Fly In, Fly Out opportunity with a rotation of two weeks on and two weeks off.
Role Overview
The Mobile Equipment Maintenance Coordinator is tasked with ensuring precise and high-quality Planning and Scheduling of all corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance activities performed on mobile assets.
Key Responsibilities
Health & Safety
- Adhere to and promote Newmont and Red Chris health & safety standards, procedures, guidelines, and regulations.
- Ensure the safety of yourself and all personnel under your supervision.
- Actively engage in Red Chris safety initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements within your control.
Maintenance Planning/Scheduling
- Oversee Asset Planning and work management for mobile maintenance.
- Planning responsibility commences once a work order is marked as Approved (APRD).
- Accountable for all work orders designated with a Planner Group of 01F.
- Ensure all work orders comply with Newmont's Planning Guidelines before being marked as PLND.
- Develop comprehensive work plans that encompass personnel, equipment, and parts availability for the safe and timely execution of work orders.
- Create detailed work packs including Safe Work Instructions, checklists, safety documentation, and relevant drawings or reference materials.
- Ensure the schedule maximizes resource value, streamlines workflow, minimizes impact on productivity, and fully utilizes available downtime.
- Provide planning and scheduling support to facilitate effective maintenance operations.
- Lead planning meetings as necessary.
- Assist the Maintenance Scheduler as required.
Leadership
- Recognize, respect, and actively promote diversity within the team.
- Foster trust and a collaborative culture among employees, departments, and contractors.
- Ensure adherence to the Maintenance Business Process by all disciplines within the work group.
Additional Responsibilities
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain open communication with team members and stakeholders.
- Monitor and understand KPIs to drive compliance and assist with budget and cost control processes.
- Facilitate weekly KPI review meetings.
- Collaborate with reliability teams to optimize component life cycles.

Candidate Profile
Position requirements include, but are not limited to:
Qualifications (essential and desirable):
- 7 – 10 years of experience in Maintenance Planning & Scheduling (preferred).
- MMP (Maintenance Management Professional) or CMRP (Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional) designation (preferred).
- Proven leadership skills.
- Strong integrity and commitment to safety.
- Inclusive leadership approach.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in SAP.
- 5-10 years of Planning and Scheduling experience.
Required Knowledge and Experience (essential and desirable)
- 5-10 years of experience in a Mobile Planning/Scheduling Role – essential.
