Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teams of healthcare professionals, including accountants, technicians, and clients;
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines through strong organizational and communication skills;
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain sensitivity in managing client relationships;
- Prepare monthly accounting adjustments, year-end financial packages, financial statements, dashboards, and budgets, while addressing ongoing client requests;
- Develop, implement, and refine record-keeping and accounting systems;
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and interpret financial dashboards;
- Identify and rectify variances and discrepancies;
- Ensure compliance with payment, reporting, and tax obligations;
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in month-end and financial statement preparation.
- Experience in full-cycle operational accounting is crucial.
- At least 3 years of experience in year-end financial reporting.
- Proficient in oral and written English.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and vehicle insurance.
- Practical knowledge of strategic business operations and supervisory experience is advantageous.
- A Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Accounting or a related field is preferred.
Requirements:
- Highly accountable and capable of thriving in an unstructured environment.
- Articulate with excellent communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage with clients, team members, and government entities.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Word) and QuickBooks / QuickBooks Online, with a willingness to learn new technologies.
- Effective problem-solving and investigative skills, with a focus on anticipating clients' operational accounting needs.
- Critical thinking and meticulous attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
- Experience in preparing monthly accounting adjustments, year-end financial packages, and analyzing financial statements is required.
Position Specifics:
- Permanent full-time position, with part-time options considered.
- 40 hours per week;
- Combination of client site visits and remote work;
- Salary is negotiable based on skills, experience, and education.
