Network Support Technician Position

Kings of Media Inc is seeking a dedicated Network Support Technician. This role is ideal for individuals who possess a strong affinity for technology and excel in troubleshooting intricate network challenges.

Position Overview
  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years
  • Core Responsibilities
    • Set up and manage server hardware and software
    • Diagnose and oversee local and wide area networks, along with computer workstations
    • Assess and implement computer hardware, networking applications, and operating systems
    • Establish security protocols for data, software, and hardware
    • Execute network initiation and shutdown processes
    • Conduct data backup and recovery operations
    • Configure local area networks and internet connections
    • Enhance server efficiency and network protection
    • Manage web-server backup and restoration tasks
  • Community Engagement Initiatives
    • Support the recruitment of newcomers and individuals affected by conflicts or natural disasters
    • Foster relationships with indigenous communities and local enterprises
    • Implement hiring practices that encourage diversity and inclusivity
