Job Title: Dump Truck Driver

H. Hans Trucking LTD. is seeking a skilled Dump Truck Driver to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Dump Truck Driver to operate our fleet of dump trucks. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive dump trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs and preventive maintenance
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
Requirements:
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Valid driver's license
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Flexibility, reliability, and hardworking attitude
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction. The work site environment is dusty, and the candidate must be able to work in this environment.
