Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Trades Helper to join our team at OIC Construction Ltd. The successful candidate will assist in various construction tasks, including loading and transporting materials, performing pre-operational inspections, and assisting in framing houses and erecting walls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials safely and efficiently
  • Conduct pre-operational inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites
Work Environment and Physical Demands

The successful candidate will work in a physically demanding environment, performing repetitive tasks and handling heavy loads. Steel-toed safety boots are required.

  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • English language proficiency
What We Offer

We offer a permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package. The work term is 33 to 40 hours per week.
